A magical night out that will send your spirits soaring

Banbury Operatic Society invites you their forthcoming production of Ghost the Musical. Based on the Oscar-winning 1990 movie of the same name, Ghost tells the story of Molly and Sam, a young couple whose bright and happy future together is destroyed in a shocking attack that results in Sam's untimely death. Stuck between this world and the next, Sam struggles to come to terms with his new life and turns to psychic reader, Oda Mae Brown, to help him protect Molly and uncover the truth about his death.

The show combines book and lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin, who wrote the Academy Award-winning original screenplay, with music by Grammy winners Dave Stewart (one half of the 80's pop duo The Eurythmics) and Glenn Ballard (co-writer of Alanis Morrissette's hugely successful album Jagged Little Pill), and features the hauntingly beautiful "With You" as well as the timeless "Unchained Melody", as featured in the movie's iconic pottery scene.

Collaborating for the first time on this supernatural romantic thriller are Amanda Anderson (Director), Nick Perry (Musical Director) and Ben Coleman (Choreographer). Heading up the talented cast are Will Dyson (Sam), Charlotte Saunders (Molly), Aaron Brooker (Carl) and Louisa Tostevin (Oda Mae Brown).

Ghost the Musical runs from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 April 2020 at Wykham Theatre, Wykham Park Academy, Ruskin Road, Banbury, OX16 9HY at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets cost £15/£13 concessions (OAP and Under 16) and are available from 1st March 2020 at www.banburyoperaticsociety.co.uk/tickets
