The show, a light-hearted tale of a draper’s assistant who inherits a fortune, was originally a vehicle for Tommy Steele who filmed part of it at Blenheim Palace. It was adapted for a new production in 2016 at Chichester. Well-known songs include Flash Bang Wallop, If the rain’s got to fall, Half a Sixpence and Money to Burn.
