Hooky Players present Ladies' Day

For our November production we get transported back to 2005, and a fish packing factory in Hull.

Life is a long, hard slog for the fish trimming ladies Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda. But their fortunes are set to change when they head to Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot. Factory overalls and hairnets make way for posh frocks and fascinators, as the four friends hit the races for an eventful day out.

Will the ladies fulfil their dreams? Will they find fame and fortune or rekindle a lost romance? Secrets are spilled with the champagne and friendships are tested to the limit as the day unfolds and tempers fray.

Are they doomed to disappointment or will they hit the jackpot?
